FAQ

Getting Started

How do I request a quote?

Fill out the contact form or book a Calendly slot. Include problem statement, desired timeline, and budget band if you have one. We follow up with clarifying questions before sending a scope document.

Do you sign NDAs before discussing our idea?

Yes. Send your standard NDA or use ours. We do not share client concepts or code outside the assigned team.

What information do you need for an accurate estimate?

User types, core workflows, integrations, platforms (web/iOS/Android), compliance needs, and whether designs exist. Wireframes or a competitor reference help but are not required.

Do you work with startups or only enterprises?

Both. Startups often come for MVPs; enterprises for modernization and dedicated squads. Minimum engagement sizes differ — we will be upfront if your budget needs a narrower scope.

FAQ

Pricing & Contracts

How much does custom software development cost?

MVPs often start at $25,000–$50,000. Mid-size web or mobile products with integrations commonly run $60,000–$150,000. Enterprise programs can exceed $300,000. We quote after discovery, not from a rate card alone.

Fixed price or time and materials?

Fixed scope works when requirements are stable. Time and materials suits evolving products. Hybrid models — fixed discovery, T&M build — are common for startups.

What payment terms do you use?

Typically milestone-based: deposit, sprint payments, and final on acceptance. Retainers bill monthly in advance for ongoing teams.

Are there hidden costs?

Third-party licenses (cloud, APIs, app stores, Salesforce seats) are yours. We list expected recurring costs in the proposal so finance can plan.

FAQ

Delivery & Process

How long does a typical project take?

Focused MVP: 3–5 months. Full product with multiple integrations: 6–12 months. We ship usable increments every two weeks rather than one big bang.

Will I own the source code?

Yes, upon payment for work delivered under your contract. We retain rights to generic libraries and internal tools unless otherwise agreed.

How do you communicate during the project?

Slack or Teams, weekly demos, and shared boards in Jira, Linear, or your tool. Time zone overlap is planned at kickoff.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes — warranty period for defects, then optional maintenance retainers covering OS updates, security patches, and small enhancements.

FAQ

AI, Mobile & Technology

Can you add AI to our existing product?

Often yes via APIs, RAG over your documents, or custom models. We assess data quality and latency requirements before promising accuracy targets.

Native or cross-platform mobile apps?

Native Swift/Kotlin when platform APIs matter; Flutter when speed and one team for both stores matter. We recommend based on your feature list, not trend.

Which cloud do you deploy on?

AWS, Azure, and GCP depending on client preference and compliance. Microsoft-first clients usually land on Azure; others often on AWS.

Do you outsource work to other vendors?

Core delivery is in-house. Specialists (security audit, niche design) are brought in transparently with your approval.
